It was savage: not only did it survive, but it prospered. “ They explained that Ms. Aleena liked to walk everywhere. “She put her parties in a bag and wore her gymnasts,” they said. “She walked. Zara believed that a woman should be able to walk home. In another moving tribute on Monday, Ms. Aleena’s best friend, Lisa Hodgson, shared the last text he sent her. On Friday, Ms. Aleena texted Ms. Hodgson to tell her, “I miss your beautiful face this xx weekend. I look forward to seeing you next xxx weekend.” Lisa Hodgson said she was going to meet Ms Aleena over the weekend she was murdered in Ilford, but the couple had rescheduled their plans for a later date. “I am completely cracked,” she wrote in a Facebook post. “I’m shocked. I’m angry. I’m sick to my stomach.” The 29-year-old suspect was arrested at an address in Ilford shortly after 4pm on Monday.
