With polls closing in Illinois on Tuesday night and votes being counted in the Illinois primary, how can you watch the results live? If you want to watch the election results as they are displayed from all over the state, you can find the latest ballots at NBCChicago.com and on the NBC Chicago app after the polls close at 7 p.m. (Contact your local constituency to see if there are any extensions or changes in your constituency. Some locations, including six in Cook County, remain open due to past problems, which will delay results for that county) Keep in mind that the initial ballots take several minutes to complete on the system, so you might want to bookmark the Illinois Election Results Page and check back overnight.
