The USA spurned a few chances from Haiti, including a penalty miss that went off the post, but a first-half goal from Alex Morgan and a late goal from Midge Perce in the 84th minute were enough to secure the three points. the Americans on their way to the World Cup and qualifying for the Olympiacos. Morgan was the star of the show as she scored on a cross from Mallory Pugh in the 16th minute to get things going. He followed up Kelley O’Hara’s cross with a header in the 23rd minute. The San Diego Wave star also hit the woodwork with a header in the 11th minute to put pressure on the Haitians early on. Morgan has 21 goals in 21 qualifying appearances, including at least one goal in five consecutive qualifiers.
