We have guys that are really hungry trying to get to the next level and you could see that in our play,” Bolden said. “The guys play really hard out there. The USFL did a good job giving us this opportunity to show what we’ve got.”
“We don’t have to go to Canada or across the country and be so far away from your family. The quality of football is excellent and I think they did a great job preparing for this league with the Fox reserve. I think it created stability with everyone being in the same bubble. “After two-and-a-half years of not playing and then coming straight into it, now contributing the way I am, it showed that when I wasn’t playing, I was putting in the work, staying focused, keeping faith in the man upstairs and when the opportunity came, I was here to execute and continue.”
Bolden and Alexander made key plays that helped their teams reach the title game.
Bolden returned a kick for a touchdown against the New Orleans Breakers. Alexander had the game-winning punt-return touchdown against the New Jersey Generals.
