Prime Minister Boris Johnson has downplayed President Vladimir Putin’s estimated 35 nuclear threats since launching his military operation – insisting instead that he would be able to overcome the Ukrainian resistance by conventional means. In an interview marking the end of the NATO summit in Spain, Mr Johnson told LBC’s Nick Ferrari: “I think it is very, very important that we do not allow ourselves to be swayed by this kind of rattling. “Because basically, what Putin is trying to do is to rephrase it against Russia against NATO. “It is not. It is his attack on a completely innocent country, with conventional weapons, with artillery, with airstrikes, with shells and so on. “And this is the right of Ukrainians to be protected. That is what this is about. “And what we had today in NATO was, once again, for the alliance to be tested, questioned, interrogated. Are we solved? Are we determined? Will we give the Ukrainians the means to protect themselves? “And the answer was absolutely yes and, if nothing else, the power of unity is greater than it was before.”

Western leaders, including Boris Johnson, would look “disgusting” topless, Putin says
A emaciated Vladimir Putin retaliated against British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and other Western leaders who ridiculed his stubborn topless exploits, with the Russian leader claiming he would look “disgusting” if they tried to imitate him. Earlier this week, Mr Johnson joked that G7 leaders could take off their clothes to “show that we are tougher than Putin” amid Russia-West tensions over Moscow’s military action in Ukraine. He added that we should “show our comments”. Emily Atkinson July 1, 2022 3:00 p.m. 1656637254

Boris Johnson’s military spending for 2030 promised ‘weak’, senior Toris say
Boris Johnson has tried to heal a rift in the cabinet by promising to increase defense spending to 2.5 per cent of Britain’s economic output by the end of the decade. The prime minister wrapped up a NATO summit in Madrid with a pledge that more than 55 55 billion could be added to military budgets this decade, following calls from Ben Wallace for more money. However, senior Conservatives said the prime minister’s ambition remained “weak” and the target was far away, given the seriousness of Vladimir Putin’s imminent threat from Russia after the invasion of Ukraine. Putin could retain power in Russia if he backs down on Ukraine, says Boris Johnson
“Vladimir Putin still has a way out of the war in Ukraine without losing power in Moscow,” Boris Johnson suggested. In the past, he has criticized Western leaders, such as Frenchman Emanuel Macron, who have suggested that Putin be offered a staircase to allow him to end the conflict without losing face.
