The stunt in question comes from the 1971 film Diamonds are Forever, where Sean Connery’s Bond leans his vehicle on two wheels to get through a narrow gap (which the aspirants, of course, can’t pull off). Digital Foundry gives its Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves PS5 tech review. “We actually created prototypes by doing this [during A Thief’s End’s jeep chase]”, reflected Uncharted 4 co-lead designer Kurt Margenau during a recent chat with Couch Soup. However, as those who have played the game will know, this concept wasn’t the final one after all. But wait, there’s more. It turns out that James Bond wasn’t the only source of inspiration for Naughty Dog’s epic chase scene.
