UFC 276 takes place Saturday at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on ABC/ESPN and early prelims on ESPN+. In the main event, middleweight champion Israel Adesanya (22-1 MMA, 11-1 UFC) puts his title on the line against Jared Cannonier (15-5 MMA, 8-5 UFC). In the co-presenter, featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski (24-1 MMA, 11-0 UFC) faces former titleholder Max Holloway (23-6 MMA, 19-6 UFC) in a three-way rematch. Jessica-Rose Clark Vs. Julia Stolyarenko
Round 1 – No glove touch and Clark opens up with a hard right leg kick that sweeps Stolyarenko off her feet momentarily. Clark tries to swarm with punches, but Stolyarenko quickly gathers and comes to strike. They reset for a second and trade strikes. Clark charges with a combination of punches. Stoliarenko fights back but ducks down and gets a takedown and quickly transitions to side control. In the blink of an eye, Stoliarenko stomps and hits an armbar. Clarke tries to defend, but Stolyarenko splits hands and cranks. Clark’s arm starts to bend in the wrong direction and it hits. What a finish. Result: Julija Stoliarenko def. Maycee Barber vs. Jessica Eye
Round 1 – The match starts with a short feel-in process and a few seconds close in the match. Eye pushes Barber into the fence and starts working with an underhook. They jockey for position and Barber sneaks in with a short elbow before reversing. Barber lands a hook and fires off a left elbow. They separate, Barber throws another elbow and Matty goes right back in to clinch against the cage. Barber reverses his position again and lands some hard shots from close range. Some nasty swelling above Eye’s right eye is evident as they continue to jostle for position against the fence. The eye lands some short punches and Barber taps the shoulder as they continue to battle for position. The eye lands a few feet before Barber frames and lands another elbow. They split up in the final seconds and head to their corners. MMA Junkie scores the round 10-9 for Barber. Round 2 – Barber starts the action with a nice right hand. They don’t hang around for long as Eye closes the distance for another clinch and brings the fight to the cage. The battle for position starts again and Barber reverses the position. A nice left elbow lands for Barber and they separate. The eye goes right back in to clinch and press Barber into the cage again. They are released a moment later. Barber lands a quick head kick but Eye shoots in and this time is able to bring Barber to the mat. Eye stays heavy on top in half guard, but can’t get going easily with Barber on the fence. Eye lands some elbows to the body before the round ends. MMA Junkie scores the round 10-9 for Eye. Round 3 – Barber comes out firing with kicks to start the final round. A leg kick lands as Eye tries to land a punch. A body kick follows from Barber. They trade punches and then Barber goes up top with a kick. Barber charges forward with a punch, but Matti easily switches levels for the clinch and brings her to the fence. Barber scrambles free this time and lands on the exit. Barber goes to drop again, and Eye times the clinch. Once again Barber is quickly freed and they return to the center. A nice exchange of punches follows with Eye landing clean. Barber lands a nice right hand shortly after. A question mark kick is just missed by Barber. Barber lands a pair of front kicks as Eye lands a right hand in return. Eye tries to hit forward to clinch, but eats some counter punches from Barber. The eye sticks with it though, and keeps Barber on the fence for a moment. Eye kicks away and Barber lands some clean punches. The eye goes in but Barber stuffs it. They return to their feet tight, where the fight ends. Uriah Hall vs. Andre Muniz
Round 1 – No gloves touching here and Muniz opens the action with a high kick. Moments later, a hard body kick lands as Hall circles to the outside. Muniz looks for a left hand, but Hall dodges and they reset. A lefty had a kick for Muniz. Hall is persistent with his offense and Muniz lands another kick. Muniz charges forward with punches and then sinks for a single leg, taking the fight to the canvas relatively easy. Muniz starts working from half guard, looking to isolate an arm. Hall defends well and returns to full guard. Muniz lands some punches off the top as Hall tries to grab him to limit the damage. Muniz then goes to side control, threatens kimrua, but goes up. He then looks for a triangle but Hall escapes and they’re back to their feet momentarily. Muniz quickly takes the fight back to the ground, but this time he ends up on Hall’s back and starts looking for more submissions. Hall defends, but eats a few punches until the horn sounds. MMA Junkie scores the round 10-9 for Muniz. Round 2 – Muniz opens with a left head kick and Hall fires off the same technique with his right leg in return. Muniz lands some punches as Hall walks away. Muniz looks for a single leg takedown but is easily shaken off by Hall. Spin kick from Muniz misses and then looks for a single leg but Hall defends again. They stay pinned against the fence and Muniz takes a trip to take the fight to the ground. Muniz lands punches off the top in guard as Hall covers. Muniz smoothly moves into full mount and continues to land punches. Hall tries to push using the cage but can’t change position. Hall turns and gives his back. Muniz lands some small punches as he calmly looks for a submission opening. Nothing is rushed here for Muniz, and Hall shows no urgency to improve his position. Muniz goes for an armbar, but Hall slips out and quickly gets to his feet and rains down until the horn sounds. Nice end to the round for Hall in the final seconds, but it still belongs to Muniz, 10-9. Round 3 – Muniz slaps a leg kick to start the final round and a head kick moments later. Hall just misses with a front kick and a punch that followed. Muniz charges forward with two punches and switches levels for the takedown and the fight goes back to the mat. Muniz starts working from half guard with punches. Muniz goes to side control, but Hall blocks the mount attempt. Hall then turns and turns his back. Muniz flattens him for a moment, but Hall is able to turn to sit up and Muniz starts looking for the back strip choke. Hall defends and Muniz switches to punches. Hall finds enough room to find a way to get up, but Muniz hangs onto his back and they fall to the ground again. Round 1 – They touch gloves and start sizing each other up in the center of the cage. Du Plessis opens with a body kick and a leg miss. Moments later, he hits a front with a combination, but Tavares slips back. Du Plessis throws another punch but is countered nicely by Tavares. Du Plessis may have been injured at this point and looked for removal. Tavares kept the fight standing and they moved to the fence in the clinch. Du Plessis tried to throw Tavares to the ground, but he was toppled nicely. Tavares tries to secure the top but Du Plessis is active and back to his feet shortly after. They stay on the feet for a moment before returning to the center. Du Plessis delivers a kick and Tavares fires up his own back. Du Plessis unleashes a combination but is countered again by Tavares.
