A suspect had taken refuge in a nearby building, Wolfgang Juergens, a police spokesman in the nearby city of Ulm, told local broadcaster SWR. The people inside the building were arrested, he said. He did not confirm how many people were found or if he was the alleged perpetrator. Police have not yet revealed whether they suspect a motive for the attack.
