“We take incidents like this seriously and will prosecute to the fullest extent of the law,” TTC spokesman Stuart Green said in an email. “Stunts like this are incredibly dangerous and illegal.” The four-and-a-half-minute video shows many people boarding line 3 carriages as trains accelerate between stops. There is also footage that appears to have been captured by a camera mounted on a drone. The video was posted on YouTube by user ChaseTO on July 1st. “Celebrating the greatest country in the world by train surfing in my city,” reads the video’s description. Green said the TTC has pulled security videos from its own trains and stations as part of the investigation. Such stunts can “result in serious injury or death, as well as service delays and tremendous inconvenience to our customers,” he said.
