Tottenham have rejected a belated attempt by Chelsea to sign Everton striker Richardson. Everton had rejected an initial 40 40million fee from the Spurs at 4pm on Wednesday afternoon, but returned with a revised 50 50m bid plus extras, which Chelsea chose not to respond to. Richardson underwent a medical in Brazil on Thursday with Tottenham staff in attendance and is expected to return to the UK next week. Watford will receive around 2 2m from the deal. In total, Richardson has made 152 appearances for Everton since leaving Watford in 2018 for εκατο 40 million, scoring 53 goals. Chelsea are in talks to acquire Rafinha from Leeds, after they chose not to accept their offer for Richardson.
