According to Toronto Public Health, the new hours of operation will begin Monday and will affect all six active clinics offering the COVID-19 vaccine.  In a notice posted on social media, officials said the changes will “meet the needs of Torontonians throughout the summer.”
These are the new hours:
· At Metro Hall and Crossroads Plaza clinics will be open from noon to 6 p.m.  from Monday to Thursday and from 10 A.M.  until 4 p.m.  on Sunday.
· At Cloverdale Mall, Mitchell Field Community Center and 1940 Eglinton Avenue, clinics will be open noon to 6 p.m.  Tuesday through Friday and from 10 a.m.  until 4 p.m.  on Saturday.
· At Thorncliffe Park Community Hub, the clinic will be open from noon to 6pm, as well as from 10am.  until 4 p.m.  both Saturday and Sunday.
All clinics offer first, second and third installments, as well as fourth installment for selected eligible groups.
Residents can make an appointment using the province’s booking portal or the call centre.
Students in Grades 7 through 12 can also make appointments at these clinics for school immunizations, such as those for hepatitis B, HPV, and meningococcal disease.
About 51.7 per cent of all eligible Torontonians have received three doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
