The 34-year-old man, from Colorado Springs, Colorado, was taken to hospital with injuries after the bison hit his hand. According to a press release from Yellowstone National Park on Tuesday, the bison loaded the man and his family on Monday as they walked down a sidewalk near Giant Geyser in Old Faithful.

The video shows the bison approaching two adults and a child. The man intervenes and the two adults manage to leave in a hurry. The bull flies and the man takes the brunt of the attack as he swings the child away from the evil. The story goes on under the ad “This is the second reported incident in 2022 when a visitor came too close to the animal and the bison responded to the perceived threat by piercing the person,” Yellowstone National Park wrote in a press release.
