The 55th Anniversary Coasters Tour has started in St. John’s. Classic vehicles of all makes and models lined up in front of the Confederation Building for the event. The government marked the occasion by signing a proclamation declaring July as the car industry’s legacy month. The range of cars included classic Ford, Chevy, Oldsmobiles, Plymouth, and even a vintage fire truck with the “Old Yeller” at the front and the “Old Goat” at the side. The tour itself starts today at St. John’s, with vehicles traveling across the country to Duncan BC through September.
