Two people were killed and several others injured, including three police officers, after a shooting in Texas on Saturday night, officials said. A suspected gunman killed two civilians and then himself at a home in Haltom City, near Fort Worth, after an exchange of gunfire with police, the Haltom City Police Department said. Haltom City Police Department spokesman Sgt. Rick Alexander said the shooting occurred when police were dispatched to a residential address around 6:45 p.m. in response to a “shots fired” dispatch call. Their identities were not released. Police then found the gunman and a shootout broke out, Alexander said.
