The teenager was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital after being hit by a car in Clarkston Road at around 4.30pm on Friday. His condition is currently unknown. Police have now launched an investigation into the incident and have appealed to anyone with information to come forward. A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Officers were called to a report of a crash involving a car and a pedestrian on Clarkston Road in Glasgow at around 4.30pm. on Friday, July 1, 2022. “Emergency services attended and a 17-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment. “Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident number 2569 of 1 July 2022.”
