An RCMP spokesperson says there are few details that can be released at this time, but confirmed the incident happened shortly after midnight. Although RCMP have not confirmed where the incident occurred, the McDonalds in Sundre had a sign in the window indicating that it was closed and the drive-thru was blocked off by crime scene tape. The RCMP’s Serious Crimes section has been called in to investigate – the division responsible for investigating homicides, serious crimes, child abuse and multi-jurisdictional offences.
