Steven Marlo Gallagher, 29, is at large and charged in connection with a July 1 evening shooting at a busy beach that left a 22-year-old Maple Ridge man with non-life threatening injuries. Osoyoos RCMP said multiple shots were fired and there were over 100 people on White Sands Beach on the east side of Lake Osoyoos at the time. They are investigating a possible connection between this shooting and a shocking random shooting incident in downtown Penticton on June 26, and an incident in which police officers were shot in the Banda Indian area of ​​Penticton on June 28. RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating Gallagher, who is considered armed and dangerous. “If Steven sees or hears this, we ask that he contact the police immediately,” says Sergeant Jason Baida.
