The NBA free Agency started on Thursday at 6 p.m. ET, when teams could start negotiating deals with players. However, the contracts will not be formal until the moratorium period is lifted on July 6. The NBA reportedly told the teams that the earnings ceiling for next season is set at $ 123.6 million, $ 11.6 million higher than the $ 112 million figure last year. Zach LaVine and Deandre Ayton are among the top unlimited free agents available this off-season. Some names are already off the board, including Jalen Brunson, who reportedly agreed a four-year, $ 110 million contract with the New York Knicks.
