Several Kelowna RCMP cruisers flooded the Orchard Plaza on Tuesday morning following reports of a gunman. According to a witness, the incident took place outside the MEC. An RCMP officer at the scene told Castanet that the alleged weapon turned out to be a BB weapon. “It was a very real BB weapon,” the officer said. The man who had the BB gun allegedly had all the correct documents. Kelowna RCMP has now left the scene.
