Raise Nebraska S Wage To Submit Signatures To Get Issue On Ballot

They say 150,000 Nebraskans would directly benefit, especially women and minorities. The group needs at least 130,000 petition signatures to get the issue on the November 2022 ballot. RTWN said they met their goal and sent the signatures to the Secretary of State’s Office on Thursday. The current minimum wage in Nebraska is $9/hour. “Wages are not keeping up with the cost of living, so it’s important for people to decide to put it out there for everyone to vote and raise the wage,” said Kate Wolfe, with Raise the Wage Nebraska.
