Charlene is slowly adjusting to royal duties after staying largely out of the public eye for the past 18 months. She spent 10 months in her native South Africa last year after contracting a sinus infection that later required surgery.
He returned to Monaco in November, but was only there for a few days before leaving for a Swiss treatment facility. The exact nature of her condition was not released, but Albert said she was “exhausted.”
The Royal Palace announced in March that Charlene had returned and would make a gradual re-entry into public life.

Prince Albert said he was “hurt by the vicious rumours” circulating about his marriage following his wife’s absence and said it was “the most beautiful thing” to have her back with him.
French media claimed she receives £10m a year to appear alongside her husband in public outings.
Leading French media reported that the ruler of the Mediterranean tax haven principality was doing everything possible to keep Charlene “by his side at public events”.
Major French outlets specializing in celebrity news reported that Charlene’s sudden reappearance was welcomed by all royal watchers.
“But the princess didn’t come back at any price,” Voici magazine reported. “She would have had her husband sign a highly confidential contract.”
The revelations were followed by rival publication Paris Match Belgium, which wrote: “Prince Albert himself would pay the princess a tidy sum to appear by his side at public events.”
The Royal Palace in Monte Carlo declined to discuss specific financial arrangements, but the principality pays around £40m a year to cover the institution’s running costs.
