Almost 1,300 people near the south coast of Newfoundland are currently without power. Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro says an outage is affecting the areas around Head of Bay D’Espoir, Milltown, Morrisville, St Alban’s, St Joseph’s and St. Veronica’s. It’s believed to have been caused by an equipment trip at an area terminal station. Hydro says a crew is en route to the site but there’s no estimated restoration time as of yet. We are currently experiencing an outage in St. Alban’s, Milltown and surrounding areas. Our team is en route to investigate the source of the outage.
