Neil Parish was forced to resign in May after it was revealed he twice watched adult content in parliament in front of female colleagues. The 66-year-old claimed the first time he accidentally clicked on porn was while watching a tractor, earning him the nickname “tractor porn MP”. The second time was a “crazy moment,” he said. He is now enjoying life away from Westminster and spoke to ITV’s Lorraine Kelly on Monday about how the scandal has affected him and his wife. “He knows I’m no angel,” he said. “In fact, he chases me around the kitchen with the scissors going, ‘snipper-snap’ knowing very well which part of my anatomy he’s after.” A shocked-looking Ms Kelly responded by saying: “Okay”, before Mr Parris added: “He knows how I am.” Ms Kelly then suggested he must have had some “very awkward conversations” with his wife after the reports first came to light. “You said he knows how you are, he accepts that I guess, but that conversation must have been very difficult,” he said. Mr Paris said his wife had supported him throughout his Westminster career and “she has done so much with me”. “Well, of course, in the morning I decided to resign, it was her advice that I took, it was my children, my son and my daughter, both very good advice,” he said. “In the end, do you twist and turn, do you say a lot of fiber or do you go clean? And I decided to go clean,” he explained. Mr Paris’s comments came as Boris Johnson dealt with the fallout from another MP, Chris Pincher, facing multiple claims of wrongdoing against him. The former deputy chief whip resigned on Thursday after being accused of drunkenly groping two men at a private Tory members’ club in central London. A number of other allegations have since been made against the Tamworth MP, all of which he denies. The prime minister was criticized for promoting Mr Pincher to deputy leader, given that he resigned from the whip’s office over a similar allegation in 2017, which Mr Pincher also denied. Downing Street initially said Johnson was not aware of any specific claims against the MP. The No 10 later on Monday admitted he was “aware” of some allegations against Mr Pincher.
