Two suspects were killed Tuesday during an exchange of fire outside a Montreal bank on Shelbourne Street, a residential area in Saanich on South Vancouver Island. Six police officers were injured. Three of them remain in hospital, where police say they will undergo further surgery and treatment in the coming weeks. Yesterday, Sanic police said explosive devices were found in a vehicle linked to robbery suspects and were safely dumped at a local landfill. Police say they have not yet ruled out the possibility of a third suspect being involved, but have no information to make them believe there is danger to the public.
