“Our daughter is missing… she’s gone… she’s gone… and nobody seems to be looking for her,” Daniel Jones told DailyMail.com on Tuesday. “The police believe he is a fugitive.”
He added: “When the police arrived they didn’t do a proper search of our house. They didn’t use sniffer dogs. Nothing. Kaylee has a lot of confidence. Someone led her away.’
Since their daughter went missing on June 14, Daniel and Brenda Jones said little has been done by authorities.
The parents said their daughter has special needs and is on the autism spectrum and needs her daily medication, which she has stopped since she disappeared.
Her mother said although she is 16, she acts much younger. “Mentally she’s like a little kid and she wouldn’t know if she’s in danger,” her mother said.
Kaylee’s mom said when she spoke with the Carroll County Coroner, she pleaded with them to issue a Mattie’s Alert, a statewide emergency alert used for disabled or elderly people.
She said they were told their daughter “didn’t qualify because she was considered high-functioning autistic.”
“Why don’t they put it on as Mattie’s Call,” she told DailyMail.com. “It’s horrible that no one can help.”
Kaylee’s dad yelled, “It’s crazy. It’s hard to work. It’s hard to be home because he’s not there.’
Brenda said many nonprofits call her to see how they can help, which she said “keeps us going.”
DailyMail.com reached out to Carroll County Sherriff’s Investigator Kim Biggs for updates and to confirm some of the details shared by Kaylee’s parents, but they did not respond to multiple requests for comment.
Kaylee Jones, 16, pictured here, was last seen on June 14 in the area of Whooping Creek Church Road in Carrollton, Georgia. Kaylee’s parents, Daniel and Brenda Jones, say their daughter has special needs and has been off her medication since she disappeared.
Kaylee is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 135 pounds. He has long brown wavy hair and brown eyes and may have been wearing jean shorts, a T-shirt and black Adidas tennis shoes when he went missing, officials said. Kaylee is pictured here with one of the horses she rides

Kaylee was last seen on June 14th around 11pm at her residence in rural Carrollton, Georgia.
The missing girl’s parents said the last time they saw their daughter was when they said “good night”. The next morning they found her bed empty. More than eight hours had passed.
The frantic mother rushed to call Kaylee’s dad and called the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office for help.
The parents said they believe their daughter climbed out of her second-story window.
They said she did not have a cell phone after her parents had taken it away days before she disappeared.
Two days before she disappeared her parents had taken away her mobile phone because she was communicating with strangers on the internet. After seizing her phone, they said she used her laptop.
Omegle was found to be one of the sites that Kaylee may have been frequenting.
According to its website, users are randomly paired up to socialize in one-on-one chat sessions where they chat anonymously. The site is free and no registration is required.
The parents said Kaylee was very upset by the punishment and later found out exactly what she was doing behind their backs.
“My wife found out she was talking to four or five boys on Snapchat,” he said.
He added: “We didn’t know about her online chat until she went missing. He was hiding it from us.’
They also said they had no idea how many people he talked to online.
Two of the people, a 20-year-old man and a 22-year-old boy she had met, were interviewed by police and released.
One of the boys told police that Kaylee sneaked out of the house a few weeks ago and that the next morning she was in her room and her parents had no idea.
“We had no idea she had done this, and neither did any of her friends,” Brenda said.
They described their daughter as someone who is very naive, trusting and someone who would be susceptible to online grooming.
Now they fear she may be out of the country and a victim of sex trafficking.

The parents said they already spent $5,000 on a private investigator hoping the PI would help find their daughter, but said once the money ran out, so did their interest in the case.
“We don’t think they were invested or helped. They did everything we could do,” Brenda said.
Some of the items they said their daughter took were a bank card, her social security card, her birth certificate and about $30 to $50 in cash, along with two to three items of clothing and a pair of shoes.
“I checked her bank card and there were no transactions,” Kaylee’s father said.
He added: “She wouldn’t know to get her social security card and birth certificate without someone telling her to do it.”
Kaylee’s mother recalled another incident that happened in February when she got her daughter’s phone.
They said they were both working in the yard and Kaylee had left the house because she was “crazy” her mother said they also took her phone.
She was missing for four hours, her mother said, and the police brought her back.
“She got into a car with an older woman because she got lost and the woman took her home and called the police,” he said.
“Scary that she got into a stranger’s car, so glad the stranger was nice.”
Kaylee is one of five children. He has four brothers, ranging in age from 19 to 22. Her father called her “Princess”.

Her parents said they moved to Georgia from Florida in August 2021 for a better job opportunity and a better life for their daughter. They said their daughter has been homeschooled.
“Kaylee we want you home. You do not have a problem. If you’re mad at us for taking your phone, just let someone know you’re alive,” her dad said.
Kaylee’s mom added, “Kaylee, you don’t have to go to school in August, we can stay homeschooled and you don’t have to work anymore if you don’t want to.”
Kaylee is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 135 pounds. He has long brown wavy hair and brown eyes and may have been wearing jean shorts, a T-shirt and black Adidas tennis shoes when he went missing, officials said.
