The opposition supports the government’s decision to remove minister John Hagee from the health portfolio. Former Health Secretary John Hagee and former Education Secretary Tom Osborne swapped portfolios earlier today in a surprise ceremony. Brazil says Haghi’s refusal to acknowledge the state of the province’s health care system as a “crisis” showed he could not continue in his position. He calls it “long overdue.” He says it’s unfortunate the Prime Minister took so long to make the decision, but calls it a “new beginning.” He says that if the health system is not going in the right direction, the new minister will hear about all the problems facing the province.
