First emergency responders were dispatched to an area just off Bennett’s Road with reports of a person in trouble at the popular swimming hole around 5 p.m. on the afternoon of Friday, July 1st. Upon arrival, crews had to descend a small area of trails to where the incident occurred. John’s, entered the water in the Narwhal inflatable lifeboat to begin the rescue effort and search for the person.
