Vancouver police have been investigating the seventh homicide of the year for almost a month and have just released details. Around 4:30 p.m. On June 2, 2022, VPD officers responded to reports of an attack near East First Avenue and Main Street in Mount Pleasant, according to a press release. A 61-year-old man who has not yet been named by the VPD has been arrested, but no charges have yet been filed. Vancouver Is Awesome has asked the VPD for more details on what happened and will update this story.
