From now on, users can choose to show Last Visited information to contacts, certain people, or no one. For a future version of the app, WhatsApp will allow users to take a similar approach to online switching, 9To5Mac reports. This new privacy feature is being rolled out at the same time that WhatsApp is also preparing another important feature, the ability to edit a message. It’s been a while since the app started allowing users to delete messages, but it never brought the ability to edit them — something that’s finally changing in a future update. The ability to edit and delete messages is also coming to another favorite messaging app: iMessage with iOS 16. Although it caused some controversy, the ability to edit and delete a message can be very useful when you misspell a word or send the wrong information to a person in a chat.
