Police say a man and woman were walking a large dog off-leash on the grounds of a school in the area of Pape and Torrens avenues around 5 p.m. on June 27 when the guardian asked them to leash the animal due to the presence of children in the school yard.
A verbal altercation ensued between the parties and police say the man and woman then assaulted the security guard before fleeing eastbound along Torrens Avenue.
Police have released surveillance images of both suspects and are appealing for the public’s help in locating them.
The male suspect is described as about 20 to 25 years old, about five-foot-seven tall and about 150 pounds with long straight brown hair and a mustache and beard. He was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt, black pants and black running shoes with white embellished soles. He was also carrying a backpack.
The female suspect, meanwhile, is described as 18 to 22 years old, about five feet tall and weighing about 130 pounds. with a slim build, long blonde/brown hair and tattoos on her neck. He was last seen wearing an orange T-shirt and gray leggings.
