George Gascon told reporters Tuesday that David Pierce has been charged in the deaths of model Christy Giles and Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola. Their bodies were released at two different Los Angeles hospitals on November 13, 2021. Police initially arrested 37-year-old Pearce in December and charged him with allegedly raping and sexually assaulting four women. But late Tuesday, Gascon said detectives had found additional evidence linking Pierce not only to the overdose deaths, but to the rapes and sexual assaults of three other women. In addition to the murder counts, he now faces charges in separate cases involving seven women including rape, sexual penetration with a foreign object, sodomy and sexual penetration with force, according to the New York Post. The alleged crimes took place between August 2010 and November 2021.

If convicted of all charges, Pearce faces up to 120 years in prison. David Pearce: More victims? GETTY IMAGES “We knew this was going to be a long investigation and we started with the charges we knew we could prove,” Gascon said. “Most had to do with the use and administration of drugs.” He added: “Los Angeles did a lot of work here, as well as our prosecution team, because we knew they were murders and we wanted to prove it, and that’s why the pending charges were confirmed.” Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascon. A friend of Pearce’s, D-list actor Brandt Osborn, is charged with two counts of being an accessory after the fact and a warrant has been issued for his arrest. We apologize, but this video failed to load. According to police, Pearce, Osborn and a third friend, cameraman Michael Ansbach, met Giles and Cabrales-Arzola at a party in Los Angeles on November 13. The quintet continued the party at the Pearce pad. Later, two masked men driving a Toyota Prius without a license plate coldly removed Giles’ lifeless body to a Culver City hospital. Later, the duo flew Cabrales-Arzola to Kaiser Permanente. Cabrales-Arzola died 11 days later, just five days shy of her 27th birthday. Giles died from a mixture of cocaine, fentanyl, gamma-hydroxybutyric acid and ketamine, while Cabrales-Arzola died from multiple organ failure due to the cocaine, ecstasy and other drugs in her system. Both deaths were ruled homicides. [email protected]
