Four people were also seriously injured during the attack on the high-rise mall on the outskirts of the city, which is near a metro station connected to an international airport. Copenhagen police chief Søren Thomassen said the suspect, identified only as a 22-year-old Dane, was arrested at the scene. The shooting happened at about 5:37 p.m., and the suspect was arrested 11 minutes later, according to police. A witness told Danish broadcaster TV2 that the attacker appeared “very violent and angry” and was “very proud of what he did”. “It’s incomprehensible. Heartbreaking.
