Investigators say at 22:30 they were called to a house rented at AirBmB in the Mohawk Road West area and Magnolia Driver.
“One of the occupants negligently dropped a firearm inside the house, causing minor damage,” officials said on Tuesday.
The suspect in this incident is described as a white man in his 30s, five feet tall and nine inches tall.
About ten minutes later, police were called to Main Street East and Holton Avenue South for another shooting.
One person was hit by gunfire and had to be taken to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect fled the scene before police arrived.
Described as a black man, five feet and ten inches tall, with short rails, wearing a blue suit and white sneakers.
At 11:50 p.m., police were called to a third shooting scene on Douglas and Mars Avenues.
Investigators found evidence of multiple shootings in a house.
No one was injured in the incident.
Investigators say they are asking anyone close to 23:15 who has a surveillance camera or dashboard video to contact them.
