Fans who have been waiting a long time for Persona 5 to come to the Switch finally got their wish, and then some, while developers like Square Enix, Capcom, Ubisoft, and even Valve introduced some new games coming to the Nintendo console. Here’s everything that was announced during the Nintendo Direct Mini:
Persona 5 Royal, Persona 4 Golden and Persona 3 Portable at the switch
Recent Persona games, including Persona 5 Royal, Persona 4 Golden and Persona 3 Portable are finally coming to the Nintendo Switch. Following the news that the popular JRPGs are coming to Xbox and PC, Atlus announced that Persona 5 Royal will be released on Switch on October 21 and Persona 4 Golden and P3P will be released soon. All three games will be in Full HD and will include both English and Japanese voice acting. Note, however, that all three toys will be sold separately.
The Legacy collection of Mega Man Battle Network has been announced
The popular Mega Man Battle Network series is coming to the Nintendo Switch in a new package that combines all ten games. The Mega Man Battle Network Legacy collection will also include a new art gallery and music library function. The collection will come to the Nintendo Switch in 2023 and will be sold in two parts if purchased digitally.
Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope gets the release date
The sequel to Mario + Rabbids got a new look today in a game review trailer, which included the introduction of Bowser as a playable character. Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope will be released on the Nintendo Switch on October 20 and tomorrow there will be a deep dive stream with more information.
Portal: The Companion Collection is coming to change today
The critically acclaimed Portal series is coming to the Nintendo Switch later today. Use the reliable Portal weapon to solve inventive environmental puzzles by trying to escape the twisted Aperture Labs and the AI GLaDOS ruler. Portal 2 will still include local, split screen and online multiplayer as well.
Nier: Automata The End of YoRHa Edition Coming to Switch
Nier: Automata is also making its way to the Nintendo Switch. This epic action RPG has been hailed as one of the best RPGs of the last decade, as part of an eternal war between android and machines. The Nintendo Switch version will include all previously released DLCs as well as the exclusive Switch suits when it launches on October 6th.
Harvestella – New game announcement
Square Enix has announced a new game that combines the fantasy worlds of the developer RPG with the lifestyle-sim gameplay of Stardew Valley. Play as a villager and collect materials, develop a farm and prevent Quietus – at the time of death – from ruining your idyllic life. Harvestella will be released on November 4.
Return to Monkey Island Coming first to the Switch consoles
The new sequel to the Monkey Island series comes first on consoles on the Nintendo Switch in 2022. As announced on the Nintendo Direct Mini, Ron Gilbert Monkey Island’s newest puzzle game will see the return of fans’ favorite characters and evolve the classic point- and click on the game.
Super Bomberman R 2 – The new game has been announced
A new Bomberman game has been announced for the Nintendo Switch. The new Castle feature allows teams of up to 15 players to reach the treasure chest, while one player acts as a defense to try to stop them. You can also create and share custom battle stages. The Super Bomberman R 2 comes to the Nintendo Switch in 2023.
LIVE A LIVE – The show has been announced
The cult-classic RPG is coming to Nintendo Switch with a new HD-2D look. While the full game will be released on July 22, a three-part demo will be released later today on the Nintendo eShop. These chapters include Imperial China, the Twilight of Edo Japan, and the Far Future.
Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak – Road map revealed
Capcom has unveiled its roadmap for the upcoming Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak expansion. Along with the huge new expansion, Capcom has revealed that a free title update to include the Seething Bazelgeuse will be released in August 2022, with more free title updates coming in the fall, winter and 2023.
Sonic Frontiers – Game Trailer
Free-roaming Sonic Frontiers is also coming to the Nintendo Switch and we have a new look at its battle in today’s Nintendo Direct Mini.
Minecraft Legends – New trailer
The action-strategy spinoff Minecraft Legends is coming to the Nintendo Switch in 2023. Control a hero and work with allies as you roam the world of monster-infested Minecraft.
Blanc
Play as a fawn and a wolf who have to work together to find their way home in the snow. Described as an emotional adventure, Blanc is completely textless, so anyone can experience this story. Play with a friend in a local or online co-op when Blanc is released in February 2023.
Disney Dreamlight Valley
A life-sim game set in a world full of popular Disney and Pixar characters. Explore the world and create a life while cultivating, cooking and interacting with famous characters. Disney Dreamlight Valley will be released on September 6 in Early Access.
Dragon Quest Treasures
The last spinoff of Dragon Quest will be released on the Nintendo Switch on December 9. He plays Eric and Mia who can work with monsters and use their treasure hunter to find buried loot.
Little Noah: Scion of Paradise
A new roguelite action game called Little Noah: Scion of Paradise will be released later today on the Nintendo Switch. Play as Noah who along with Zipper the cat must explore ancient ruins, recruit allies and fight enemies and bosses. But if you lose, you have to start from the beginning.
RPG Time: The Legend of Wright
Kenta is an aspiring game developer working on his first hand-drawn RPG, The Legend of Wright. Play through the Kenta notebook with more than 200 pages of puzzles to solve, design and delete. RPG Time will be released on the Nintendo Switch on August 18.
Lorelei and the Laser Eyes
A surreal puzzle mystery game reminiscent of the golden age of mystery detective novels. The puzzle adventure game first comes to consoles on the Nintendo Switch in 2023.
Doraemon Story of Seasons: Friends of the Great Kingdom
The famous Japanese mascot Doraemon stars in a new game where players can collect crops, watch animals and use Doraemon secret gadgets. Hang out with your friends and create a ranch in Doraemon life-sim coming to Switch in 2022.
Pac-Man World Re-PAC
A remake of Pac-Man World is coming to the Nintendo Switch on August 26th. This 3D Pac-man game features the iconic character, who must save his family after being transported to the ghost island.
RAILROAD
A railroad management game in which players will build rail systems that can better transport cargo and keep the economy afloat. Railgrade will be released on the Nintendo Switch this fall.
Captain Velvet Meteor: The Jump + Dimensions
Play as a young boy who recently moved to Japan without friends. Damien chooses to live in his imagination as the superhero Captain Velvet Meteor who collaborates with his favorite manga characters to help him escape from a mysterious world.
