The tornadoes were near Lake Foam, Manitou / Watrous Beach and the Cymric / Govan area. Highway 16 was closed because a tornado near Lake Foam, about 200 kilometers northeast of Regina, knocked down grain buckets and pushed them into the road. Power lines were also out of order and CP train trains had to be temporarily shut down, according to the Federal Meteorological Service. Watrous and Manitou Beach is located about 150 miles west of Lake Foam. The Cymric / Govan area is located about 100 km northwest of Regina. There were two other possible falls in the Cymric / Govan area around 6:00 p.m. CST., Which will be investigated by Environment Canada.
