Conservative pundit Dave Rubin has revealed that he has been banned from Twitter for simply posting news about famous Canadian psychology professor and philosopher Jordan Peterson being banned from Twitter. On Tuesday, Rubin issued a statement to other social media platforms disclosing his suspension and asked potential Twitter owner Elon Musk to help rid the platform of “woke activists” pushing for “big tech censorship.” on opinions they disagree with. In the statement, Rubin wrote, “I have been suspended from Twitter for posting a screenshot of Jordan Peterson’s tweet that got him suspended.” “While it is not clear how I violated their terms of service,” he continued, “it is clear that they are violating their fiduciary responsibility to their shareholders by letting a group of Woke activists run the company.” TWITTER ALLEGEDLY SUSPENDED JORDAN PETERSON AFTER HE TWEETED ABOUT THE ELLIOT PAGE Both Canadian psychologist and conservative pundit Dave Rubin have been fired from Twitter in the past two weeks.
A screenshot provided by Rubin, which was shared by conservative users on the social media platform, showed the Twitter alert to the expert. The notice included the text of Rubin’s tweet about Peterson as well as a tip to delete the tweet in question. Rubin’s offending tweet from June 29 read: “The insanity continues on Twitter. @jordanbpeterson has been suspended for this tweet about Ellen Page. He just told me he will never delete the tweet.” Rubin added, “Paging @elonmusk…” at the end of his tweet, hoping to get the attention of the billionaire CEO who is seeking to buy Twitter and reorganize the company to better protect free speech. On June 22, Peterson tweeted that transgender actress Ellen Page (who now identifies as a man named Elliott) underwent gender reassignment surgery performed by a “criminal doctor.” He wrote: “Remember when pride was a sin? And Ellen Page just had her breasts removed by a criminal doctor.” Peterson was quickly ejected from the stand that day. In Rubin’s statement on July 5, he also expressed hope that Musk’s purchase of Twitter “goes through so he can blow up their servers and humanity can move on from this pervasive, perverted, self-imposed mental institution.” Twitter suspended Dr. Jordan Peterson for a tweet that referred to transgender actor Elliott Page as Ellen Page. Conservative writer John Cardillo tweeted: “@RubinReport, who follows every rule and is an absolute class act, was suspended for tweeting about Peterson’s improper suspension. The thought police demand absolute loyalty.” New York Post columnist Douglas Murray tweeted: “So @RubinReport has been banned from Twitter for commenting on Twitter’s suspension of @jordanbpeterson. Does @Twitter plan to have a future? Also, could he explain if Elliot was ever Helen? Or was Caitlin ever Bruce?” “Peterson was referring to sex and the left’s assault on objective reality,” explained conservative writer Ariel Davidson, adding, “And he was suspended for doing so. Dave Rubin then was suspended for discussing Peterson’s suspension. Orwellian nonsense .
