A section of Chute Lake Road in Kelowna’s Kettle Valley neighborhood will be closed overnight next week for paving. From the evening of Monday, July 4 through the morning of Wednesday, July 6, Chute Lake Road will be closed between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m., from South Crest Drive to Lark Street. Motorists will be able to use Okaview Road to Lark Street to bypass the road rehabilitation work. “Motorists can expect delays and should allow themselves extra time,” said Tom Wilson, director of communications with the City of Kelowna. “Only residents living on the streets had access exclusively from Chute Lake Rd. access will be allowed’. Wilson says about 10.5 kilometers of roads across Kelowna will be resurfaced in 2022.
