(Twitter @CrimoBob) His son was arrested seven hours after a gunman perched on a rooftop opened fire on flag-waving families and children riding bicycles in Monday’s Independence Day parade in the Chicago suburb of Highland Park. The gunman climbed onto the roof of a business using a ladder in an alley, police said. Police identified Crimo as a person of interest in the shooting and said he should be considered armed and dangerous. Hours later, they announced he had been taken into custody after a short foot chase near Lake Forest, about six miles from the scene of the massacre. He was also photographed wearing an FBI hat and liked a video of Joe Biden. Police said they did not know the motive for the shooting in Highland Park. The injured ranged in age from eight to 85, including four or five children. Nicolas Toledo, a 70-year-old man, was the first victim identified late Monday by his family. The North Bank Church of Israel confirmed her death in an email to colleagues. At least one of the dead was a Mexican national, a senior Mexican foreign ministry official confirmed on Twitter.
