Canada Day celebrations will return to the Roberta Bondar stage booth starting at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 1, a press release issued by the city of Sault Ste. said Marie. Entertainment will include Wild Stallyns, Tim Holland, Tianna Legacy and more, with fireworks closing at night. Cotton wool, pizza, M&M barbecue and BeaverTails will also be available. Some facilities and services in the city will be closed on July 1. The following is a complete list of affected services:

The city landfill will be closed on July 1. It will be open on Saturday, July 2 from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

Both marinas are open on July 1 from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m.

Seasonal launch cards cost $ 66 and are available from the fuel booth at Bellevue Marina during normal business hours or at the Community Development and Enterprise Services office at Civic Center. Debit or credit card is preferred. Boatmen can also download the Passport Parking mobile app and use the 3759 zone for daily launches.

Outdoor pools / Splash Pad
The Peter G. Manzo and VE Greco swimming pools are open from 1 to 7 p.m., weather permitting. The Bellevue Park Splash Pad is open daily from 9 a.m. – 8 p.m. Canada Day Celebrations The festivities return on July 1 at the Roberta Bondar Park Tent Pavilion.
