The complainant told police on May 13 that a young man had asked them to kill another young man in exchange for payment, police said in a statement Wednesday. After a six-week investigation, police arrested the 16-year-old on Tuesday. The young person cannot be named according to the provisions of the Law on Criminal Justice for young people. “This is a very serious and worrying incident,” the sergeant said. As a service, our priority is to ensure the public safety of all Calgary residents.” The charges against the young man include a lawyer for murder, violation of a court order and possession of marijuana.
