The body of the children’s father was found in a different location hours earlier. Police are investigating what happened amid suspicions of a possible murder-suicide, according to Maplewood police. Emergency services searched Lake Vadnais near Minneapolis in the US for hours starting around 4pm on Friday, police said. The chain of events began earlier that morning when the man’s body was found in a mobile home park in the town of Maplewood. Police determined the woman had run off with the children and found her car near the lake. Image: Friends and family gathered at Lake Vadnais. The bodies of the third child and the woman were found around 10.30am on Saturday morning. The children – two boys and a girl – were all under the age of five. Ramsey County Undersheriff Mike Martin said at a news conference Saturday afternoon that all remains are being taken to the medical examiner’s office, which will release information on the cause of death, NBC reported. “There is nothing more tragic than the loss of young children,” Ramsey County Sheriff Bob Fletcher said Friday. He added that officials are treating the lake case as a “possible triple homicide.” “That hasn’t changed,” Martin said Saturday.
