The program fire takes the number of flights canceled by Britain’s biggest airline this summer to 27,900. BA will inform passengers “over the next few days” if their flight has been disrupted. The latest cancellations affect departures from August to October. The airline has already canceled in the past two weeks more than 1,000 flights due to take off this month. In May it cut its summer schedule by 10%, while last night’s cancellations represent a further 13% of flights. In total BA has axed 4.5 million seats it planned to fly. The
