A Man Dies After Being Trapped Under A Door In A Garage In Caledon

This marks the second fatal work accident of the month in the city.
At around 3:20 p.m., police responded to a commercial property in the Airport Road and King Street area for complaints about a man who did not respond, according to an OPP statement.
Upon arrival, police found a man trapped under a garage door, the statement said.  The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The name of the deceased has not been made known to the relatives, according to the police.
The Ministry of Labor and the Federal Ministry of Labor have been informed and are conducting an investigation.
The forensic office and the Forensic Identification Unit of the IPP are also assisting in the investigation, according to the announcement.
On June 1, a man was hit by an excavator truck at a construction site on Abbotside Way.  His death was also confirmed at the scene.
